KSA shares insight on its digital transformation

Saudi Arabia has opted to centralize network access and wireless communications infrastructure, and information technology and communications.

The decision is solely based on its reliance on "Digital Technology" and the need to handle multiple transactions is through an integrated solution so as to deliver the effective services to its customers, employee, and beneficiary, and also to accomplish the goals of its future-bound Vision 2030.

Regions and provinces around the Kingdom have seen a widespread of communications and information technology services, owing primarily to the sector's backing from the prestigious the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, the Crown Prince, and their prudent administration.

As a result, the Kingdom has climbed to the forefront of the regional communications and information technology markets.

The primary method for enabling the public to receive government services in an effective, safe, seamless, and integrated manner was through an established network of numerous electronic channels.

Thus, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology developed the Yesser E-Government Program, which is driving the digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's governmental departments.
