The campaign to update landowner data in real estate sector has concluded

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department has announced the completion of its campaign to update landowners' data in the real estate system in different locations of Sharjah, which has been started in collaboration with Sharjah's District & Villages Affairs Department.

The campaign, which lasted from March 28th to May 29th, addressed all real estate owners in Sharjah, encompassing citizens, residents, and investors of all nationalities, to preserve landowners' rights and update their data.

The Department's Director-General, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, lauded the campaign's accomplishment and the District & Villages Affairs Department, portrayed by its chairman, Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, and all of its company employees, for their complete participation, utilizing all of the department's skills, and for opening the doors of suburban councils in various locations to landowners over the preceding time, which led in the campaign's success

According to Al Shamsi, the number of landowners who took part in the campaign reached approximately 2,100, and the number of real estate agreements that had been updated reached around 5,000 bonds spread over the emirate's various districts and regions.

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) recently welcomed a team from the Sharjah Consultative Council's Committee on Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security, and Public Utilities Affairs (SCC).

During the beginning of the meeting, Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General (DG) of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), greeted the visiting group and appreciated the endeavors of all agencies working in the emirate to give the finest services to Sharjah citizens.

Al Shamsi described most of the services, structures, and processes in place to accommodate all real estate employees in the emirate, and the most essential initiatives in place to promote this essential segment of the economy.

Obaid Mohammed Al Qabid Al Tunaiji, the committee's delegate, and rapporteur sent greetings from the Council's Chairman, Vice-President, Secretary-General, and other Council members to the Real Estate Registration Department and all its personnel.

He guaranteed that the council pays close attention to the Department because of its critical role in overseeing all real estate operations, planning, and development in Sharjah. Furthermore, he highlighted the Council's admiration for the department's duties and eagerness to enhance its performance system, in addition to the department's outstanding reputation and even the major leaps he saw in all the offered services, not to mention the efficiency of the human cadres.

Al-Tunaiji emphasized that by meeting with the department, they would be able to incorporate roles to achieve the goals desired by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and sponsored by Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) to maintain continuous improvement in the operating system of the Sharjah government's numerous departments and agencies.

As part of its work for the second regular session of the tenth legislative term, the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) will conduct its 18th session on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

The conference will be presided over by Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SCC, at the council's headquarters in Sharjah, after all, security measures, precautionary protocols, and social distancing have been implemented.

In the presence of Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Real Estate Registration Department, the Council will examine the strategy of the Real Estate Registration Department in the Emirate of Sharjah.
