The Hotel Show will promote confidence in the region's hospitality business

The Hotel Show (THS) Dubai 2021 is thrilled to offer major elements to watch out for this at the trade show's 21st edition, which will take place live and in-person from May 31st to June 2nd, 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Hotel Show Dubai (THS Dubai) is the region's largest event of its type, bringing together industry executives with over 20 nations for the first time in more than a year to make up for a lost time during the epidemic.

A poll conducted by GRS in collaboration with The Hotel Show Dubai yielded some good figures on the industry's present state, reaffirming the industry's good outlook for firms and individuals in the hotel and leisure sector.

As per the poll, almost 80% of industrial firm owners anticipate an improvement in the second half of this year, compared to the second half of 2020.

Furthermore, 82% of industrial firm owners anticipate an improvement in the second half of 2021 compared to the first half of 2021. Notably, 56 % of the hotel owners polled felt their establishments are providing a "better experience to their visitors now than before Covid-19." When questioned what are the two most essential elements to consider while selecting a supplier are, 65% of industrial firm owners replied quality and 35% said dependability. Ultimately, more than half of hoteliers are proactively looking for new employees, illustrating the industry's dramatic reversal in recent days. “The numbers from the GRS study are a striking illustration of the amazing reaction by the UAE government over the past 14 months,” says Yves Tarabout, General Manager at Sheraton Mall of the Emirates. The local hotel business is rapidly regenerating, and we are also witnessing significant improvements in operations in all areas. This is a fantastic success and a monument to the region's durability and determination to becoming global leisure and tourist destination.”
