According to state news agency Saba News, Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed arrived in Saudi Arabia's capital on Sunday to address the Riyadh Agreement and Yemen's economic crisis.

· Saeed will meet with Saudi officials for the possibility of obtaining financial assistance for the Saudi government.

· Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Yemen's President, will also share several developments by Saeed.

Saeed is scheduled to meet Saudi officials, accompanied by Yemeni Finance Minister Salem bin Breik, to discuss the possibility of attaining economic support for their government.

This assistance aims to help the Yemeni government to fulfill its responsibilities to its citizens which includes offering basic services and to avoid the national currency exchange rate from depreciating.

Institutional corruption and a spiraling currency will be among the priorities of Yemen's new government, Saeed said earlier in December. He went on to say that the new administration will concentrate on reviving Yemen's economy, halting the riyal's decline, alleviating Yemenis' misery, and fighting corruption in state institutions.

Saeed will also brief Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi on a variety of changes, including the ongoing attempts to complete the Riyadh Agreement's implementation and evaluate the situation.
