In partnership with Al Bir Charity and Haqal Charity in Tabuk, NEOM has initiated a volunteer program to help local families during the sacred month of Ramadan as part of a robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme.

NEOM staff has worked in recent weeks to help two local charities by preparing and delivering food packages providing all of the needs that local families need throughout Ramadan.

Meshari Al-Motairi, NEOM's Government Relations Executive Director, stated that the company is dedicated to assisting local communities.

“NEOM is launching a series of volunteer programs to support our local neighborhoods.

“Our mission is to campaign for, sustain, and inspire local communities through educational projects, civic involvement events, and job creation,” Al-Motairi said.

"At NEOM, we are putting in place a variety of dynamic and sustainable social welfare programs." We want to promote a charitable atmosphere while also raising awareness about the value of serving.

“Projects like this not only encourage us to support local people, but they also help us create a strong base for long-term growth that demonstrates a genuine contribution to the local community.”

NEOM also unveiled an effort to provide area people with job opportunities. NEOM intends to offer educational and skills development services to at least 7,000 residents in the local region between 2020 and 2025 to improve their job opportunities.

Since 2020, NEOM has also offered English language and information technology courses to over 1,000 residents.

Besides that, NEOM's Corporate Social Responsibility Department has arranged a sequence of workshops in conjunction with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Think Tech to promote digital literacy and understanding.
