According to the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, the Saudi Export-Import Bank (EXIM) will help boost Saudi exports by providing financial support to both importers and exporters. Intending to grow the share of non-oil exports in GDP, the bank provides credit solutions that assist in expediting and promoting export operations in the private sector, as well as overcoming obstacles to this critical activity.

During the launch of EXIM's website, Al-Khorayef made the remarks. He praised King Salman's government's interest in supporting and facilitating non-oil exports, including its enthusiastic support for the bank's goals of improving the national economy and increasing the proportion of non-oil exports from 16 % to 50 % in queue with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.

Al-Khorayef went on to say that EXIM, which was recently launched, will continue to work to close the funding gap for Saudi exports and to serve a variety of contributors, including Saudi exporters and foreigners with industrial or commercial activities in the Kingdom, to create an appropriate environment for the arrival of Saudi products in various regional and international markets. It is one of the bank's most significant strategic goals that it aspires to accomplish.

The bank's website, according to acting CEO Naif Al-Shammari, is part of a strategy to establish electronic services that appeal to consumers and beneficiaries and are in sync with the Kingdom's adoption of digital transformation in all financial and banking transactions. The website saudiexim.gov.sa is built on cutting-edge technology, allowing users and beneficiaries to send budget requests quickly and easily, as well as access information and data to aid them in determining the best financing options for them and improving contact with the bank team.

It's worth mentioning that the bank has sanctioned nearly SR8 billion in financing requests for Saudi exports since its establishment, which included export operations to more than 45 countries around the world.
