Minister states education is undergoing a real and deep development

Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, Minister of Education, said that the ministry would introduce the Future Leaders Platform over the next two weeks to train a generation of male and female educators for the mission of educational leadership and future industry.

On Sunday, the Minister met with a group of teachers from various educational institutions around the Kingdom to discuss curriculum development, education plans, the execution of high school tracks, and the new trimester system that the Ministry would introduce in the next academic year.

The Minister advised teachers that we should work together to achieve the government's goals and enhance the future of the country's sons and daughters, allowing us to compete worldwide.

According to the Minister, the Ministry is aiming to enhance its relations with both male and female educators.

He also mentioned remote education being one of the most important success stories established by teachers with their pupils via the online classes on "Madrasati" platform.

As a result, the nation has achieved exceptional success, as recognized by international organisation.

Dr. Al-Sheikh went on to say that education is at a period of genuine and profound growth, not abstract growth, and everybody is a component of this evolution.

This contributes to the attainment of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 aims and ambitions for the education sector the human capacity development plan is fulfilling development objectives and also the future demands.

He added that after studying the current state of the Kingdom's educational system over last two years, it became clear that the problems are enormous in a variety of ways.

It involves low international exam scores, a gap between educational ladder years and genuine years of study, and the reality that education plans have been stagnant for many years.

According to the Minister, the three semesters approach is a management tool and a method to achieve a larger goal of upgrading curriculum and education programmes, introducing new resources, and numerous applications and supplements emphasizing on skills.

He emphasized the need of professionalizing the teacher's position and that the education development plan is not separate from teacher growth and qualification.

According to Dr. Al-Sheikh, the ministry has established intellectual awareness units in each department of education to strengthen the ideals of allegiance to the leadership, relating to the homeland, and pride in its civilization, history, and symbols, and to help spread the values of moderation and acceptance.

He conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the leadership for its unwavering support for education. He also thanked teachers for their roles, and also their earnest efforts and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities.
