In Athens, a Picasso artwork named "Head of a Woman" has been recovered.

Picasso's picture was personally donated to the Greek people by the Spanish master.

Picasso, the famous Spanish artist acknowledged for his exquisite contribution to the world of art, once donated to the residents of Greece a painting done by him centuries ago.

The picture was allegedly stolen from the country's National Gallery approximately a decade ago.

Officials recovered the artwork, titled "Head of a Woman," from a remote location.

Picasso created the artwork in 1949 and presented it to the Greek people as a memorial.

Shortly after the artwork was recovered, a builder confessed of stealing it and has been arrested.

The authorities assumed that the artwork would be hard to sell after its discovery since Picasso had personally scribbled a letter on the back of it.
