Scouting activities to be introduced in girl’s schools by Education Ministry

During the next school year, the Ministry of Education aims to officially establish scouting programs in all three phases of girls' schools throughout the Kingdom.

In this reference, the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Saad Aal Fehaid, has issued a notification to all education administrations in the regions and governorates, requesting that they provide a summary on earlier approaches in the field of scouting activities for girls, if any, to the Scouts Activity Administration in the ministry.

The statement should also include a list of the female officials at the Education Administration who have already been allocated the role of overseeing the activities of girl guides.

It should include a list of females who've already acquired certified scouting certifications, and along with copies of their certificates, the number of schools accessed for girl guides' activities at all educational levels, and initiatives targeted for these kinds of scouting activities over the last three years, suggestions for initiating scouting activities for girls, and the challenges that they face.

The directive also urged the Education Administrations to supply the General Administration for Activities with a database of women and young women interested in entering the scouting qualification courses, ranked by priority, and to fill out nomination forms. All of this should be delivered to the ministry by Shawwal 29, 1442H.
