According to three expatriates Eva Voytko, Charl Chaka, and Jessica, in the UAE music and dance play an important role in one's wellbeing and wellness.

Research Dive Report released in November 2020 predicted that health and wellness will become a global industry by 2026. People around the world become more aware of taking care of their overall health and preventing life-long diseases.

They're on display at the recently re-styled Shala and the Villas on Saadiyat Island, by Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.

Armenian heritage Voytko's music is a mix of ethnic vocals and instruments, which have influenced her personal music background. She travelled throughout Europe and Asia before settling in the United Arab Emirates. She joyfully adds, “No matter how different we are, “we are all one.” Happiness can be found in a “free mind and a happy spirit” through music.

Chaka was an active musician in Dubai for 26 years. He decided to serve Pachamama (Mother Earth) through ancient meditation, sound, fire ceremony, ancient songs, morning and plant rituals. Through sustainable projects, man as a whole must be attuned to improve the society and the climate. Music allows you to experience emotions. Dance is a dialogue between the body and the spirit.

Jessica was raised by a mother who insists that health and fitness are important aspects of life. She was able to cope and resolve despite having traumatic childhood that culminated into eating disorder.

Music and dance have the potential to heal. It brings everyone together dissolving all cultural and age differences.
