So far, no appeal has been made to enact a curfew during Eid, according to the Health Ministry reports.

Over nine million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been distributed so far across Saudi Arabia, according to a tweet posted late Thursday on the Ministry of Health's official Twitter account. The vaccines were distributed across 587 different locations, according to the release.

Meanwhile, the ministry's spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali, confirmed that no petitions have indeed been made to the relevant authorities to re-impose curfews at the end of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr holidays. During a broadcast on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, he further said that strict adherence to precautionary steps and protective protocols would cause the ministry to refrain from enforcing strict procedures on residing citizens. “Taking the vaccine leads to us getting out of the crisis quickly,” he said.

The spokesman urged all the residents and emigrants to schedule appointments for vaccines. They also noted that vaccines are accessible at all ministry-run centers.
