UAE women will get Dh350 ‘Pink Care' coupon to protect themselves from breast cancer

The ‘Pink Care' voucher, which debuted this year, offers health benefits in the form of a mammogram screening at a portable medical centre.

Pink Caravan, a pan-UAE breast cancer awareness campaign run by the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), has released a Dh350 coupon to commemorate Mother's Day.

The ‘Pink Care' voucher, launched this year, offers health benefits in the form of a mammogram screening at a mobile medical centre. Pink Caravan's mission to raise community awareness on key issues surrounding breast health and breast cancer will rely heavily on purchasers.

The proceeds from coupon sales will also fund breast cancer prevention and care research, as well as enhancing the lives of those who have been affected by the disease. The Pink Caravan's Medical Mobile Clinic at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah is open to those who have been putting off regular breast screenings due to fears about Covid-19 exposure.

During its annual Pink Caravan Ride, which will take place in the fourth quarter of this year, the Pink Caravan will continue to provide free health screenings to women and men of all nationalities in the UAE.
